We are happy to inform you that Dr. Dang's Lab. Pvt. Ltd. has been chosen to be part of the study " A randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre, parallel study assessing the efficacy, safety and dose response of Ramipril for the treatment of hypertension in children and adolescents," This trial is expected to begin at this center ( A.I.I.M.S ) from July/ August 2007.

The team from A.I.I.M.S. had briefly visited the lab and are satisfied with pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical steps involved in the laboratory processes, which shall be used for sample analysis. The team is headed by Dr. Arvind Bagga from the Department of Peadiatrics of the ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

Medical Diagnostic Centre(Dr. Dang's Lab) has been selected to be the safety laboratory for the infants participating in the protocol "A Double-Blind Randomized Palcebo Controlled Dose Escalating Phase Ib/II a Study to Evaluate the Safety and Immunogenicity of Live Attenuated Rotavirus Vaccine 116E in Healthy Non Malnourished Infants 8-10 Weeks of Age" by SOCIETY FOR APPLIED STUDIES.

The laboratory had been audited by the team and they were satisfied with the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical steps involved in the laboratory processes which would be used for sample analysis. After assessing the quality systems of the laboratory, they have decided to go ahead with safety testing of specimens from the above clinical trial in our laboratory.
