EBV Test |
| The test provides a qualitative in vitro assay for human antibodies of IgM class to EBV different antigens:- VCA gp125, VCA p19, EBNA, p22 and EA-D in serum or plasma. Epstein-Barr virus is the causative agent of infectious mononucleosis, a febrile disease with pharyngitis and lymphadenopathy which is frequently associated with hepatosplenomegaly and rarely with an exanthema. |
